The Gandr is a hand-assembled bifilar pancake coil, built for the TZLA plasma
machine and other plasma devices of the same type.

Two spirals wound in the same plane and joined at the center into one continuous conductor. Current circulates in opposite directions through the two halves, so the magnetic fields largely cancel while the capacitance between them rises sharply — the coil trades inductance for capacitance. It's a bifilar winding, the same family Tesla patented in 1894 (US 512,340).

5mm thick — thin enough to stand on, sit on or lie on without it getting in
the way. You place it where you want it.

A 50 × 1000mm (2 × 39 in) hook-and-loop nylon strap is included and threads
through the integrated mounts. Wrap it around an upper arm or thigh, pull it
tight, and keep both hands free.

Printed in flexible TPU 85A. The cable is hand-laid and locked at the ends.
Every unit is tested before it ships.

The lead cable runs 2.5 meters (8.2 ft) and is sleeved in tubing along its
full length, so the conductor stays insulated the whole way from the coil to
your machine. It terminates in a gold-plated banana plug.

Gandr is Old Norse for a magic staff — the rod a seiðr practitioner used to
direct and carry force. The same word also means wolf.
